How to See Your Reposts on TikTok (App and Web)

Published Updated 4 min read

Quick answer

To see your reposts on TikTok, tap Profile, then tap the Reposts tab in the row of tabs above your video grid. Every video you’ve reposted from that account is listed there. On a computer, open your profile on tiktok.com and select Reposts. Can’t find a video? Make sure you’re on the right account and that you reposted it rather than liked or favorited it.

How to see your reposts in the TikTok app

  1. Open TikTok and tap Profile in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Check the username at the top, especially if you switch between accounts.
  3. In the row of tabs above your videos, tap Reposts.
  4. Tap any thumbnail to watch the video and see who posted it.

The same row holds your own videos, your liked videos, and your favorites, so it’s easy to open the wrong one. Reposts is the tab for videos you shared with your followers using the Repost button.

How to see your reposts on a computer

  1. Go to tiktok.com in a desktop browser and log in.
  2. Click Profile in the left sidebar.
  3. Select the Reposts tab above your video grid.

The larger screen makes it easier to scan a long list. Reposting and removal are documented for the TikTok app, so if something looks different on the website, check your profile in the app too.

Why you can’t find a repost (or the Reposts tab)

  • You’re on another account. Reposts belong to the account that made them. Switch accounts and check again.
  • You liked or favorited it instead. Liked videos are under the heart tab and saved videos under the bookmark tab, not under Reposts.
  • You already removed it. Open the video and check its menu. If it offers Repost, it isn’t currently reposted.
  • The video is no longer available. If the creator deleted it or limited who can see it, it may not show up in your list.
  • The list hasn’t refreshed. Pull down to refresh, or update TikTok from the App Store and reopen it.

Who else can see your reposts

Your Reposts tab isn’t private by default. According to TikTok’s Help Center:

  • Public account: anyone can see your reposts, any repost text, and replies to them on your profile.
  • Private account: only your followers can see your reposts, on your profile and in their For You feeds.

TikTok’s Help Center documents no “only me” setting for reposts. If there are reposts you don’t want people to see, removing them is the only sure way. See how to hide reposts on TikTok for your options.

How to see someone else’s reposts

Open their profile and tap the Reposts tab. If their account is public, you can browse it. If it’s private, you’ll need to follow them and be approved first. Be wary of “repost viewer” websites that promise to unlock private reposts; our TikTok repost viewer guide explains why.

Found more reposts than you expected?

It’s common to open the Reposts tab after a few months and find far more videos than you remember sharing. Press-and-hold reposts are easy to trigger by accident, and TikTok reposts without asking you to confirm.

To remove one, follow how to remove a repost on TikTok. To clear a backlog, see how to delete all reposts on TikTok at once.
